white egret?

That is a snowy egret if they live in your area, otherwise it's the close cousin the little egret.

My book says "very rare visitor" but it was published in 1973 before global warming

The little egret is common on the south coast nowdays and I have even seen them around the A4 near hungerford. However, they always seem to be on the opposite bank to where I am, why is that? :d
