    I took these recently......

Here is a picture of my wife on our honeymoon this last weekend.

I feel there is too much whitewash? over the left side background of photo. I have Google Picasa so I am limited as far as editing. Oh well, I like originals. This was shot in RAW with a D80 camera with 55-200mm VR lens (only lens I have right now).

Thanks in adavce for your C&C

If it were mine I would crop top and left of your first photo to get rid of blown out sky.
You'd have to eliminate the building on the cliff but its so blurred it wouldn't matter.
If you get a program that you can clone in/out with the railing could go too.
The flowers are sharp with good color and dof but too centered in frame.

I like the last shot alot....very nice focus. The blurred flowers in the foreground of the 2nd shot ruin it for me. The first shot would be alright if you could get some focus on the background, but currently is not doing it for me.

    thanks for the input

and thank you for the welcomes. It's great to have creative people around who like to share the knowledge.

I have had 5 pictures in the 'Rider's Eye' of DirtRag magazine. I look back on them now and don't give the photos much credit but at the time they worked for that magazine.

Now that I have more free time I am going to attend some courses and really focus on the photographs.

Most of the time I will be mountain biking with my camera.

    Thanks again and take care,

I like the third picture a lot: nice colors and contrast between blues and yellow. This picture looks like it should be in an office building's foyer.
