    The Fritillary Flit

Great day for shooting butterflies. I don't know if this works or not. Only one way to find out: comments please.

    Thanks,

I think it could be stronger with the whole B-fly in the frame but I know how hard it is to get them to hover in the right place.

I like the mothion blur combined with the sharp flower.

    Re: The Fritillary Flit

My opinion is no, it doesn't work. It took me a few minutes of deliberation to make up my mind, but I decided it is too blured. Had this been shot at a higher shutter speed I think I would've loved it, good composition and colors.

    Just my opinion..
Please ask before editing my photos, I'll say yes

    Chunk/dumpy:

Thanks for the response. This is what I needed to know. I didn't know if the blur was ok and being blurred (action) of part of the b-fly being out of the frame would be acceptable. I appreciate the feedback.
