These are pretty powerful images but I think you were just too far away. The quality of the images doesn't support the emotion of the scene (if that makes any sense).

I guess you are going to have to start carrying around 2 bodies with a lens on each.....

I do have a film camera but its so blasted heavy with a long lens on it. I can use my 135 on the film camera and the 55-200 on the Nikon. But I will look lke a fool on the bus with all that stuff. lol
