    I think you should crop it a little bit under that blown out spot on the top right. And maybe from the bottom a little, too.

    For the top, I was actually thinking about the next blown out spot down.

    So did Chicago get hit hard by the storm? Because down here I was at a Beatles tribute concert, and it got canceled three songs in because of the heavy rain and tornado warning.

    I like the composition and do think you crop is better.

    Are you sure the colors are correct? I like 'em but they look wrong.

    It has a very dramatic feeling, but the blown out white areas distract. I sort of agree with MB here; the colors though pretty look really unnatural. I don't think I've ever seen anything close to a purple sky like this (but there is a first time.........)

    Btw, I would crop differently by keeping all the sky and removing about 1/2 of the bottom black area.
