Just another angle of the same bird - I guess - but from different angle. I think this is a adult male Rufous Hummingbird. S5; Nikon 105mm macro f2.8 VR; ISO 800; f4.5 1/3500 sec. Day time, no flash. MF. Cropped.
Beautiful shot there! Love the placement of the head in the clearing. Not a big fan of the ultra high speed shutter - I actually like the wings blurred out more to convey the sense of frenzied motion. But that's just me. Good shooting (MF to boot!).

I like the wings almost stopped myself..... 1/1000 or so. That looks like a rufous to me, but those and allans are a bit variable .
