    Hummingbird...again

    Just another angle of the same bird - I guess - but from different angle. I think this is a adult male Rufous Hummingbird.

    S5; Nikon 105mm macro f2.8 VR; ISO 800; f4.5 1/3500 sec. Day time, no flash. MF. Cropped.

    Beautiful shot there! Love the placement of the head in the clearing.

    Not a big fan of the ultra high speed shutter - I actually like the wings blurred out more to convey the sense of frenzied motion. But that's just me.

    Good shooting (MF to boot!).

    Beautiful shot, the background colours accentuate the head perfectly.

    I like the wings almost stopped myself..... 1/1000 or so.

    That looks like a rufous to me, but those and allans are a bit variable .
