Question Scaffolding, Color or B&W - Holga...

I finally got the color roll back, so I am presenting both the color and black and white versions of the photograph.
These are on two separate rolls of film, one Tri-X and the other Fujichrome Provia 100.
I am not sure which I like best.
    What do you think?
    Thanks!
    Brian

Re: Scaffolding, Color or B&W - Holga...

Personally, the colour is my preference. I don't shoot with a Holga, but it seems to me that the way they render colour is part of their appeal - it doesn't seem quite so "Holga" when it's done in mono (if you know what I mean).

I agree with Mike. I really liked the B&W when I first saw it, but the contrast between the red and blue really adds a lot. Both are good shots, but I think the provia wins this time.

Color. I agree that the red against the blue really works. Good work Brian. Have you taped differently? It looks as though the leaks have moved some.

I also like the colour version. By the way, what is the scaffolding for?

At the place I work, there is a lot of new construction going on. These were used in the construction of one of the new buildings being built. When they were up, these scaffolding were about 100 yards away from my desk.
    Thanks for your comments everyone!

Wow! Has to be the colour, this is clearly 'a Brian shot', it makes me think of the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco, stunning again.
