I like it and the impact that the sun has had on this image both in terms of subject matter and the dark colours. Perhaps a landscape wouild have worked better?

I agree a huge crop of the sky just above the umbrellas. Nice work, I like the B&W.

I think this would be better if you opened the exposure a stop or two so the sky isn't an 18% grey. As it is this looks overcast instead of being a bright sunny day.
