    another go at the yard FOUNTAIN

    I spotted on the FOUNTAIN which no one can see but me on my Philips CRT. I checked using my lap top (flat screen) and it is dark as well. So here another look ... thoughts and suggestions please ... thanks

    Shooting B&W with:
    a Yashica 635, 120 roll - 80mm Yashinon lens and an Agfa Billy 0 (Zero) 127 roll - Solinar 7.5cm lens
    Shooting color with:
    a Yashica-Mat, 120 roll - 80mm Lumaxar lens and a Canon FTb, 135 roll - 55mm and 85mm FD lenses

    Better but it still seems like the main subject of the image is the house rather than the fountain which gets a little lost in the foreground.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    I think it's mainly a problem of composition. It may have been better if you had just stepped to the side a bit to put some darker background behind that stream of water. Getting closer, shooting from a lower angle with a wide-angle lens could help, too, I think. Nice looking house though.
