    Old and Worn

    Took a walk today, here's one of the shots that I was inspired to take

    I am mainly here to learn, I'm pretty new at photography so please don't be afraid to say whatever you need to if you're critiquing my photos, and take my composition advice with an extra grain of salt

    For some odd reson I like this image, there is nothing there but I had to look at it two or three times. I love how clean it looks. Now I am on my work PC so it looks a tad bark but this monitor is like a 1910 model.

    How can I be lost
    If I've got nowhere to go?

    I agree, it's very clean. It reminds me of yesteryear, another era.... The black and white gradients are just plain awesome here - this is a good example of how black and white should look. Well done with that. The subject is what it is, it doesn't bother me. I think the composition would technically look a bit better if there was less foreground, but the grassy area is so perfectly exposed that I wouldn't change a thing

    Thanks guys! When I was shooting it I knew that it would look great in B&W, I'm glad it worked out :]

    I like the foreground, the auto and the house but I'm thinking the top of the image is too busy for the rest of the shot.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    This shot has great sharpness and contrast I am a Cannon fan, but the Nikons are getting tempting.
