    B&W Stones

Hey, here's a pic of what looks a bit like a well, it resides in my backyard/patio, tell me what you think!

Btw I do also have it in color, but I think it adds flavor having it in B&W

It clould be my monitor - laptop not clibrated - but this looks a little bright (grey) o me and the levels could possibly need to be changed.

The composition could do with a bit more of the pillar or whatever you call it in the shot to ground it into the rest of the scene.

I think that since its in your backyard it would be a good idea to shoot early morning or evening so the light isn't so harsh and then go vertical so the bottom shows.
I like that you didn't put it in the center and didn't chop any of the bush off.

Bad lighting for B&W (likely bad for color too).

The whole left half of the frame adds nothing to the image.

I'm thinking a portrait format would work better if the subject is the stones.
    No, I DON'T need that.

I agree with you guys, I think I'm going to redo the photo in the morning and with my gf in a white sun dress, on the left side bending over slightly with her nose nearly touching a flower I'll place coming out of it, should add subject matter to the rest of the frame

I intentionally left the ground out because it is just plain ol' cement, but I'll have her feet in the frame too so I'll use a wider angle lens.

    Thanks for the feedback!
