A collision decision

I slammed my brakes,thinking that there will be a collision for sure,grabbed the nikon d50, quickly with lightning speed snapped the before shots,but the aftermath was avoided, with pin point decsion, and the whole mishap avoided.

these were taken way out in the boonies,while hunting treasures, i was heading to my third treasure find when i captured this one, somewhere near teulon, deep in the bush i pasted a genuine standing teepee, but i was going to fast to stop.

I think you are too far away from the animals in the first image and although I like the crop of the second shot too much detail is lost by the tight crop.

Alas, there is a reason wildlife photographers take all that time to set up and use long prime lenses........

remember i'm just a amatuer, slow witted and old to boot, thats why i need constant reminders on how to improve a fun satisfying hobby .

The first image works well, really like the trees in the distance and the overall contrast and I am not bothered that you are some distance from the animals. What is distracting me however is the fence or similar that is running along the bottom of the frame, could be easily removed.

yes your right about the fence,but photoshop guru i'm not, next time i'll get my butt out of the car and get a decent undistracting shot.thanks for the views.
