the best lens for models?

Just wondering what would you consider to be the best combo for shooting models? I was told the 70-200 2.8 . I was thinking about the 24-70 2.8 or both as a combo. or is the trusty 50mm 1.8 the way to go?

All depends on what your going for. Remember the wider the lens the more distortion you will get. 85mm is considered one of the best portrait lenses. Longer lens = less distortion.
