    Wildlife photography from around the world

    Hi.

    I traveled around the world in 5 months and took some photographs along the way:

    Camera used: Canon EOS 350D
    Lens used: Sigma 70-300 mm Macro APO DG lens



    Shutter speed: 1/250 sec
    Lens Aperature; F/5,6
    Focal length: 300 mm
    ISO Speed: 400




    Shutter speed: 1/125 sec
    Lens Aperature: F/5,6
    Focal length: 300 mm
    Iso speed: 400




    Shutter speed: 1/125 sec
    Lens aperature: F/5,6
    Focal Length: 300 mm
    Iso speed: 400




    Shutter speed: 1/500 sec
    Lens aperature. F/10
    Focal length: 300 mm
    ISO speed: 250

    Thanks for sharing these. I've been looking at that lens as a possible addition to my gear. These pictures make my decision easier.

    Yes, the Sigma lenses are quite good. I used to have a Canon EOS 500N, back in the "film days", with a Sigma (70-300mm) lens. It always gave clear images. All the images above was taken with camera hand held. I have never used a tripod, although I actually brought one along on the trip, there were just no occasion where one was needed.
