Hi Rick. This is interesting. Just curious...what created the brightness in the bottom right? The clouds kind of have an aurora look to them, but I'm guessing this wasn't shot in the Northwest Territories.

I was thinking the same thing as Paul, looks almost like you caught the northern lights though I don't think a cactus would would fare to well that far North...LOL Don't suppose you recall what kind of exposure time you had on this?

Hi Paul, you're right nowhere near the northwest lol. It was probably here in the Phoenix area because I don't remember having the Mamiya out anywhere else recently. The light in the clouds probably came from the nearby city lights.

Hey Aaron. I am guessing by the length of the star trails probably about 15-20 mins, probably wide open around f3.5. I am beginning to think I remember where I shot this, probably at a lake about 30 mins north of town.
