    New calf.

We have a working cattle farm as part of our development.

Saturday I caught this shot about 15 minutes after this calf was dropped.

Tell me how to improve it.

    Re: New calf.

I like how we can see the calf just over the blades of the grass but yet it is still hidden as a new youngin should be. I like the green and brown colors together. . .they tell of nature and life. I am unsure about having all that grass in the fg and a crop into a horizontal frame by removing much of the bottom looks good. At the same time, I do like the calf up in the upper portion of the square frame and the color of the grass in the fg is nice. I think it works either way.
    Very nice.

I agree with Gary. It's a very nice perspective.

I too like the format and the bright green spring grass seems to be a big part of the feeling of new birth but I would really like to see the same shot without the grass.

    No, I DON'T need that.
