    Black rat snake

Found this guy in the road (dirt forest road) today. he was between 4-5 feet long. Its the longest snake ive found down here by far (and the first black rat to). i only had my 18-135, not my macro, so pics arn't great, and lighting was really bad ( i can't wait until the leaves are finally out).

and then i found my second fence lizard down here to. it was actually in a trap so thats good i can count it. again only 18-135 (really needed macro for this guy to)

i like the photos of the frog better. the color is rich and good! the snake kinda scares me but it looks good.

Dylan - I really like the last one with the snake in an almost silhouette lighting. The colours of the leaves really make the snake stand out .... and who needs a macro lens with shots like that? lol

    Re: Black rat snake

    Thanks quickpose and jaedon.

the harsh lighting on the snake really hurt the pics. and my macro lense is just sharper than the 18-135, so thats why i wish i had it.
