    Reflection of a Icehole

two different points of view, both could be the same topic, but taken seperately of its own merits,.
one looking through ice to the eco system that remains alive and well, despite the frigid temps,
second is a reflection of a icehole.

For use as records, I think these photos are fine.

    Re: Reflection of a Icehole

the blur is actually a extended mirror, the camera has focused on the mirror only that is reflecting the image of a ice hole, where as the first one has no mirror and is focused on the actual different ice hole. these very thin shaves of ice are just dangling on the top of the weeds, the wind blows hard enough ,these sheets of thin ice break in the wind,or get crushed by passerbys.

    Re: Reflection of a Icehole

I'm thinking the first image has a lot of potential but the grasses in the hole just aren't interesting enough as a subject to grab the viewers attention.
    No, I DON'T need that.

I feel that both need something more, but not sure what.

Good experiment. keep at it to see if you can capture the "something else".
