    D100 help needed

I recently came into possession of a D100, unfortunately the previous owner had lost the manual.
The trouble started when I recharged the battery and deleted all the images on the memory card.
Now the camera will not function. There is blinking fEE warning. What kind of error does that signify? How can it be corrected?
    Any advise would be appreciated.

On my D80 the fEE means the lens has not been set to smallest aperture,(largest number). Only applies if you have a lens on that has aperture adjustments. It doesn't look like Nikon's digitutor site has the d100 on it but you should be able to find a manual on ebay or elsewhere.

Like Frog said, the aperture ring on your lens isnt locked in the smallest aperture. Did that a few times with my D70. So used to adjusting aperture from the lens when I got my first dslr (D70). 23 yrs of doing it at the lens is a hard habit to break.
