    Pool at night

    Yes? No? Maybe?

    Can try this concept again but only for another two days while Im at home for break.

    It's nice but there is way too much dark for my taste. I would crop this just a little below the bottom of the reflection and I would like to see just a little more definition in the upper part of the tree - maybe a slightly longer exposure? Try shooting this horizontal and include all of the circular pool, it got cut off.

    On my monitor its just way too dark except the water and even it could use some more exposure. I think you need some way to get more light into the surroundings or go close on the water.

    Too dark and you are way too far away from the waterfall which I take as the main subject of the image.

    Agreed. Plus a longer exposure to open up the shadow details where possible, plus I would do a tungsten or custom white balance for this. On another hand though you could have a lot of fun, painting with a flash burst with different colors of cellophane taped over the head. Shining it onto the water and the surrounding area while your leave the shutter open for a few minutes or do several and layer them up in photoshop.
