    Spring Song

Ordinarily I would say that the return of the singing Red-winged blackbirds is the official sound of spring.

But these hardy sparrows have gutted it out all winter and actually started singing a few months ago. Either way, the sounds of spring are music to my ears.

BTW, the RWBB's are still not aggressive enough with their territories to allow me to get close. But the sparrows are all over the place - but chasing them down to get close enough for a shot is still an exercise
