Strange Ice

A perfect combination of strange weather conditions produced these. Earlier warm temps along with falling water levels with sudden drop in temperature made shapes I've not seen before.

I hope I did them justice. They looked like those decorative paper-weights. But these were more beautiful then anything you could buy.

The first one is my favorite....but they are all great shots....really makes you think outside the box when you are out shooting.....Great Job

Thanks for the comments, paulnj. I tell you, it was difficult to find the right shooting angles and that ice on the pond was real thin. But it did hold my weight though.
