    Strange Ice

    A perfect combination of strange weather conditions produced these. Earlier warm temps along with falling water levels with sudden drop in temperature made shapes I've not seen before.

    I hope I did them justice. They looked like those decorative paper-weights. But these were more beautiful then anything you could buy.

    Thanks for the comments, paulnj. I tell you, it was difficult to find the right shooting angles and that ice on the pond was real thin. But it did hold my weight though.
