    D@nm, I like the look.

Nice off center composition, nice full tonal range, great use of B&W and ambient light.

    No complaints here.
    No, I DON'T need that.

I like this style too. The door frames the subject in a nice big frame.

Very nice. Too bad the woman isn't taking a more aggressive stance, preferably looking right at you (back to you might have also worked), for that would add energy. Still nice as is

Nice. At first I thought I might like to see the shot from a lower angle, but I think it would have made it harder to see the nice detail in the entryway floor. And i really appreciate the lighting.

I too like this. I really like the nice mix of light inside and outside the door. I've been thinking of a similar shot around here, but haven't been able to pull it off yet. Nicely done.

Yes, now this is my cup of tea. Like it alot. great comp and exposed well for the open doorway. the bit of detail inside the front area is just enough. the darkness frames the scene in mystery.
    Great

    Re: Girl in door

i did a lot of b&W photography. but there is no equal in photography to depict the tonal range an in B&W. the girl is almost silhouette, but the tones coming down from the steps and entering in the room, merging with darkness take our heart away. the photographer's composition is splendid and there is no chance to move the eyes from the girl, steps and the surrounding area in the frame. this is one of the beautiful silhouette i saw after some gap. it is a single(mono)enjoyment, that gathers thousands of colours around. since the mother of photography is B&W.
i do not do colours away but it is a matter of inner feelings that are easily mingled with the mono. kudos.
