I like the composition a lot and there is a interesting softness here. The B&W is nice too.

Very well done, 2 thumbs up from me.
    No, I DON'T need that.

I like the composition, however, I wish I could see more of his collar or scarf to really identify what it is. Maybe it would be good to see his shoulder. I think it needs a bit more contrast too, there is no real black in the image. Another thing is the jpg-artefacts, I am sure you have one without.

    Re: Old Soldier in Bronze

Thanks guys. The image was taken through a bus window again. It was very de-saturated because of the less than perfectly transparent window. If I increased contrast too much, the helmet got lost. I did oversharpen the face too much. This is not a perfect photo.

I like the composition and there are some very complimentary shapes in this image, given that this was taken through a bus window it is particularly impressive! Were you moving at the time?

LOL, Don none of our photos are perfect and that is perfectly fine. At least for me your images are more about emotion, feelings or a sense of place than technical wizardry.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Hi Don,
The shot is very moody. I also like the gainy texture on the face of the soldier. Is the statue wearing a scarf? It may be a bit strange, I find a resemblance between the statue and the avatar of MB.
