    I really like the lighthouse. Very peaceful, simple and clean.

    Thanks bindows, am not completely sure about the actual poses of the two figures in that shot, can't help but feel that it is a bit empty and that there needs to be more activity to focus on. Thanks for your input though!

    Good stuff, Herriot. I think the first two are ok except the scenong image feel cramped and busy.
    The Lighthouse is very good.
    I really like that last one. It appears to me like the tree is mortal and holding out the lantern over the water. Great shape to that little tree and a treat to have the lantern hanging from it.

    Not much on the first but like the rest.
    I think the lighthouse might be better with one person instead of more. Empty space can be good sometimes.

    Re: Ko Chang Collection

    I'll start from the top;

    The Lighthouse: The horizon and the lighthouse are tilted. I like the way you have the foreground lead into the tower.

    The Lantern: Nice color and lighting. I sort of wish (in a small way) that the horizon was not so much in the center of the image and cut in half by the lantern.

    The Hammock: Aaaaarg, you have him in the center line of the image. I think it would be much more interesting if you had followed the rule of thirds for this one.

    The Reflection: Nice idea. Again I think this would be a great place to use the rule of thirds as you have some empty water below the reflection of the person and the tree tops are cut off. For me the powerlines are just too strong of a presence here (nothing you can do about them though) taking away from the quiet rural feeling of the rest of the image.

    The Alley: Needs people.

    Of these three I like the lantern the best, the hammock has a lot of potential with a different crop and the reflection is a lot of fun but the powerlines and crop kill it for me.
    No, I DON'T need that.
