I sit looking at the latest issue of popular photography, and I ponder about the end of a weekend,thinking of what i could of done or taken of,but didn't ,here i sit by candle light feeling sad ,leaking tears over my new issue, while holding my remote for the camera on stand,. any critism is very much welcomed on the image not the story.

Looks like you did something to me.
The shot looks unposed which is a positive in my book.
You could crop some of the black space on the right.
Some might say the whole lamp should be in the frame but I think it works better as is.

Yes, a crop from the right and level those shelves.

I agree with MB1. Crop from the right and straighten it out. But I will take it a step further - try a tight vertical crop. I don't think the lamp adds anything and is just a distraction.

Is your face out of focus? Looks like you are focused on the shelf instead of the face.

thanks for all looking ,yes my face in almost all shots is alittle out of focus,perhaps i didnot have the camera pointing right at me,and i cannot explain why the shelf appears to be tilting,almost all my shots taken from my camera has a tilt somehow,could there be something internal?,my next pictures i take i will pay more attention to horizontal of my shots,.thanks for all advise.

Has an interesting human side to it.

It is technically imperfect, but like the others have said you may be able to fix it. Note that it appears that you did not take the shot tangent to the shelf plane. Hence, it is probably just vanishing point perspective that causes it to seem to "tilt" like that. You are a little soft in the shot - hard to fix this I think - probably due to motion during the long exposure.

your right about a slight motion,my stomach was resting against my freezer where i was standing,and every breath i took will waiting for the exposure to cycle thru kind of made me move ever so slightly, thus the little blur on my face, live and learn right.thanks for viewing, it took some heavy concentration to create that real tear.
