    Hoar frost Whoa up, Whats this !

    was out early this morning to grab a few images of the hoar frost from over night,the sun was just coming up and through the fog revealed a " rain bow " effect, skidding to a stop on the shoulder road,i grabbed this shot, again this is with my new nikon d50, caught by surprize i hope this turned out ok in your eyes,any suggestions.my setting auto white balance, f/16 exposure time was 1/80 focal lengthy at 55mm on aperature priorty.

    I like the subtle coloring here and I love the blue water.

    I'm thinking a crop about a third or halfway from the right edge to the rainbow would work real well. It would get rid of that flag that comes out of nowhere and put the rainbow in about the perfect third of the frame.

    No, I think you should keep the beach-it adds context and has a nice line. Just crop from the right.

    its not a beach its a field of snow, or are you being funny because its so blue and not white'r, i don't know for sure perhaps i still had the white balance on incandescant from the night before shooting.

    ok my third attempt, i cloned out the flag left most of the bottom pic in and cropped the rainbow or sundog in around one third of the shot.
