A little BB from last night

This was actually a pretty easy game to shoot for a change. I shot it for the paper but mainly wanted to go to see the team shot mounted on the wall that I did for them a few weeks ago. I had it printed at 48"x96" and they wanted something different than the usual "line em up and shoot em" team shot. I'm including a downsized version here as well. Only downside was that our team lost a close one by 3 points.

Nice job, but one thing stands out as it is really odd looking. The middle photo, whats up with that girls left leg and shoe? The color is completely off and very strange looking.

It's both girls' right legs (left in image) they appear to be in shadow compared to the other leg.

You can actually print 48" X 96" from a 6.1 mp camera and have it look good?

Sure, it's called "Up Sampling". The image is not just enlarged, it is entirely resampled at the new size. So essentially, I started with a shot at 300 ppi (not to be confused with dpi) and after resizing by the lab it was still at 300 ppi. Actually, the Fuji Frontier printer they use resamples to 272 ppi for a 48x96 print. It's not all about how big with how many MP.
