    View Basket

Had another session along the banks Of the Thames today and here is one for your comments. A freezing blooming day it was too and I came home seized up.

Neat Perspective Tom! I think the streaks from the waves look very cool, especially in relation to the solidity of the baskets. One man's trash is another man's cool picture!!

I agree with Cindy also the chains adds to the shot. Nice perspective. Well worth the effort.

This is certainly unusual and I really appreciate the dead on approach to this. It has a sort of . . artsy, POP, contemporary style in its subject and composition. I like the slightly different hues going on in the wheels. The motion blur adds a texture of softness to this hard cold subject. Well done Tom

I like it too Tom ... the perspective is unusual enough to force the viewer to consider it to work out what is happening.

    Thanks everyone.
Personally I enjoyed this but I think that, without the effect of the slowish shutter speed, it may well have been just a little ordinary.

very nice, the colors are beautiful, but the angle is a bit...unnerving. It's good in the sense that it makes you look for much longer than you would normally.

    Tom,

For me the slow shutter makes the shot and what wonderful colours.

Thanks so much Brent and Roger. You have more or less articulated my own feelings on it.

Very nice shot Tom. It's one that really forces you to look closer to understand what's happening, but it provides a nice reward for doing so. Lots of nice things to see throughout.
