hunting for alligator somewhere in southern Poland...

    Hi

I am sending you today 5 pictures from a trip to hunt an alligator somewhere in southern Poland. The hunting took place last summer in the thickets around one desert island inside one of numerous little local lakes ... that summer day no alligator was caught and the trip participants ate canned food again ... but who knows what will be next summer?

    Watch, please

Seems like a lovely, peaceful place. But the images themselves are a bit too "wide feeling" to me. I don't know quite what to look at. I'm sure the scene was nice but it is always important to ask yourself what exactly is it that makes it nice. Then shoot the scene to highlight, isolate, or compliment that element.

Not trying to sound harsh. Just trying to help.

Re: hunting for alligator somewhere in southern Poland...

    Hi

Thanks for your comments. All the pictures were done the same day. Soon before the storm. The sky was quite, quite dark when picture nr 4 was done. Probably these pictures should be taken again in more pleasant day. At generally pictures number 3 and 4 should be replaced by something better.
Now next problem, what to look at? Hmmm... look at Phragmites communis tunnels on pictures nr 3 and 4. There are really great. Doth alligators can be hidden inside the thickets...

Picture nr 1 is rather obvious, the wind was very turbulent on picture nr 2. The last picture is comming back to the island from the thickets.

    Hmmm... that's all now.

    Bye

ps. I have read Phragmittes communis is called Phragmittes australis lately.
It can be the truth ....
