    Altamont Wind Farm

    Shooting in early afternoon / harsh light.What do you think of this shot? Good or bad!
    These were my settings. 105mm F/10 1/1000 Iso640.

    This looks like some photo in a chapter of some photo book that talks about composition ;-)

    It's a nice composition indeed.

    I like it a lot, but have a few thoughts:
    It doesn't look very sharp. Maybe it's the lens.
    Why were you shooting at ISO 640?
    I would crop a hair off the right side, just to get rid of that windmill that's sliced in half by the edge of the frame.

    I also wondered why you shot it at ISO640. A lower one would have made it less harsh and the colors would have been better defined and crisper, IMO. Nice composition indeed though.

    Nice shot Rick. You used the road and gate well to lead to the subject. I think you should clone the wind mills half out of the frame. Well done.....

    That is a nice composition indeed but the light keeps it from being a great image. I'd say go back there in different conditions until you get a sky and light that pops.
    No, I DON'T need that.
