    I don't live in area that I can find interesting shots, most of the houses are post WWII, with some post WWI, and a few Victorian houses far far apart. MB1 just lives in a photo rich place.

    I suspect you can.

    Portland has the rivers, bridges, parks, buildings, traffic, the rose garden and nasty weather. Seems like a perfect place for photography to me.
