    Fall

Perhaps the past tense of the word would be more applicable here.

For the past 4 weekends, we've been raking (we have 30-something trees). After nearly 100 highly compressed lawn bags, we are nearing the end. All the trees are bare except for this one mulberry and one medium size oak tree.

Well the mulberry held on tightly until this past Friday. Then, within 24 hours, it let go of everything. It rained leaves at a steady rate.

One more weekend to collect the stragglers then off to better things

    Re: Fall

I sure don't envy you. The photo appears like you got tired of waiting for them to fall, and left your chair to go get a beer. While you were gone, they started coming down.

Great shot, if the chair could talk it looks like it would be saying.."Leaves...huh, next it'll be snow." in an Eeyore type voice....

I love that image Loupey, I could just imagine running and kicking through those leaves .

    Re: Fall

    Thanks for the comments

Forgot to mention that that chair is a kid's adirondack version. So the leaves, although quite deep, isn't that deep or that large. If I tried to sit in that chair, it would stick to my butt when I stood up

    Thanks again.
