3 different types from the north coast

Just a sample of what I was working on.

detailed shots of features (the driftwood)

    family snaps on the beach

    and some landscape type scenery.

C&C please. These I thought were my best efforts from each catagory. let me know if you would like to see a few more from a certain catagory.

I opened up the third one a bit and leveled the....sea level :-)

and got a different interpretation of your third photo:

Yes I like the driftwood. But each year a wave comes in and rolls the logs around, some times a unluckily child or adult is rolled over by the log that they were standing on..... Not Good. (it one takes about 3-4 inches of water to move the driftwood, not a big wave at all!)

Please be safe, stay of and away from the driftwood close to the surf!

    desmo,

I like the third one of the first set, but I'd recommend cropping some off the top. As-is, the horizon is too centered and the additional sky doesn't add anything. I'm debating about the second version. I like the lighter foreground, but not so much the lighter sky.

i love the first one (minus the child ~ sorry).

the second has some really great colours but i am not sure that it is a "keeper."

i prefer the darkness of the third but perhaps even darker with a silhouette ??
    neither here or there.
