    Frozen

Winter has arrived up here. Today it was very cold(-23C), and the bay is freezing. You can see the steam in the background. Shot this as the sun struggled to get above the horizon. Soon it will be gone for a few months.

Wow, that is great color in the foreground and the middle. The top of the sky isn't quite as good as the rest of the image.
    No, I DON'T need that.

very nice... i bet that situation provides some very unsual, but stunning photo ops... but i don;t know if i could live with out the sun, or heat for that long.

its very hard to tell what scale this is at though. can't tell if that is a mountain in the foreground or a rock

That's some stunning color you got in the ice.
I gripe when it gets dark at 4 or 5 here...Hope you have opportunities for indoor photography.

..the beauty of photography...what we take for granted stimulates and intrigues others. Very nice picture. Looks as if it is computer graphic.
Please ask to edit photos and I'll do the same!
    Thx, Rod

Great Shot. It has a very surreal other world look to it. I like the composition and you have some nice detail in the foreground.

I really like this shot. You've got great colors and a nice sense of depth. I like the sky as well. It adds nicely to the shot.

    Sure does look cold though.

I think it is a great shot, but I do agree with mb on the sky.
