    Irish Sunrise

Hi brand new to the forum, I am well into my third year taking photographs, and appreciate all the comments and criticism. Thanks all

These were taken at the end of a jaunt back home to Ireland, hope you like.

    Re: Irish Sunrise

i like all three but the third one is the best.

my guess would be that number one has a lot of sky which is good but takes away fromthe lighthouse (i presume that's what it is).

maybe less sky would accentuate the lighthouse.

the second one has a great sky but the foreground says nothing. perhaps it's too dark.

i cannot suggest any corrections but i really like the third. maybe the foreground in sharpness but the background a little blurred maybe..

dunno but i would like to have taken this shot.

Welcome to the forums. You've started off in pretty impressive fashion, these are beautiful shots. I especially like that third one. The subtle lighting on the rocks is great as is the sense of depth that the shot provides. Very well done.

+1 for that comment. These are some beautiful shots. The first shot I think could use a tad more foreground and the orange in the second is a little oversaturated. Nothing major. The third though is gorgeous. Wouldn't change a thing. Print that one and hang it  Hope to see more of your work.

Spent most of my life in Ireland and have never been around to see sunsets like these; blame the high stool. I like the second best because of the way the lighting has illuminated the grass and little plants. but they are all ever so good.

Looks like you did a lot of PhotoShop work there.

I like the first one for the color range and the lighting but most of all I like your placement of the horizon.

I think the second one is overprocessed and the colors and lighting look false.

The third one sort of works for me but I bet I would like it better in a landscape crop rather then the portrait format you use here.
    No, I DON'T need that.

These all have a distinctive look.
The highlight dodged in the foreground, or middle ground.

My favourite is the last image, by far.
    Next is the first image.
I'm sorry the second image doesn't hold my attention, but it's flanked by two stunnning ones.

Very nice colors but they do look heavily processed. The last one is definitely the best.
