    Light and Shadows

Nothing but common subjects lately so I played around with shadows growing on the far end of the pond in the setting sun.

Just realized that I seem to be drawn to the darker, moodier shots lately. Don't know what that's all about.

I'll have to agree with Amber, the second is a very cool shot. Everything just "works". Very pleasing to the eye!!

Loupey, as usual, great images. I also like the second one - the ripples in the water are cool.

    Cheers,

    Re: Light and Shadows

Amber, big baldo, WesternGuy - many thanks for taking a look and commenting.

That mallard shot is near full width with a little crop on the top and bottom. Playing around with it some more, I think an even more aggressive 2:1 aspect ratio crop makes it even more unusual and visually stronger.

I'll have to print one up large and wide to see how well it will hang.

    Thanks again.
