Weird way to die. No apparent trauma except to its wings. Looks like he got caught out in a tornado.

I can see threads of spider web, but surely it'd have to be pretty weak to get caught ?

BB - LOL, thanks for looking

SW - I didn't see any evidence that a spider caused his demise. Really strange how the wings were literally wrapped around the stalk. I wish now that I had taken some "forensic" shots as well.
