    Lights out

Taken at an abandoned Thai monastery where even the lamp posts have since been removed, any thoughts?

    Many thanks as always

A nice juxtaposition of contrasting elements.

I wish you had squared up on the platform in the foreground so the top was level in the image. You could probably make a square image out of this by croping from the right-there is way more there than needed.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Ok, attempt number two, slightly straightened and cropped from the right, any thoughts?
    Many thanks again

    Re: Lights out

I think either getting closer to focus on the three statues with the sign right behind them, or opening up the shot so as to show alot more of the surroundings. I think yor last crop works in bringing the sign behind them closer in view and also the statues. The straightening helped but you then have to straighten from the left as all the verticals appear to be leaning right.

    The crop is much better.

It has all of the essence of the first image only enhanced.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Thank you both for your input, it all helps! Agree that the crop works but there is only so much that can be done with the image that was captured, thanks for your insights.
