    Whitetail munching

    Another shot from my photo excursion to the NWR in NW MN. I saw dozens upon dozens of deer, but this is the only one that actually didn't mind having his photo taken.

    Good Capture Mike , bow hunting starts in a few days here so they will be coming out of the bush everywhere .Its gonna be dangerous driving the highway's at night for a few weeks.Its like that every year at this time.

    A fine find and capture, Mike.

    And Knight brings up a timely subject: a reminder as bow and gun hunting seasons approach - take extra measures to ensure that hunters are nowhere near where you plan to photograph wildlife.

    We (photographers) tend not to wear blaze orange. And some gun hunters are a bit too quick on the draw.
