    Sleeping Beauty

This is my sister relaxing after a long weekend.. The way the sunlight hit her blond hair made it stick out, What do you think?

Great subject and title I just wish there was a slightly wider tonal range on the left side. Perhaps croping some off the left and the bottom would work.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Hmm. I like your choice of B&W here. The sunlight illuminating her hair and the expression on her face all make for a nice mood. Not really sure about the angle of her arm however... it might be comfortable to her but it looks uncomfortable to me. Finally, it is too centered: if you had left a little more space on the right side I think it would have worked better. perhaps a tad more at the top too.

Yeah I agree the arm was alittle funky but when shes sleeping I wasn't about to wake her up and say "Hey could you move your arm so I can take a picture.." lol

    Dave,

I really like this picture - Personally the only thing I would do is select around the face and brighten it up just a touch.

What does your sister think of it - thats a lot more important than all us technocrats.

    She's a pretty girl.
