    Tower 5

I went back to lurk mode there for a while, but I thought I'd try another shot for some feedback. Any comments?

    Thanks,

    PC

This is a great shot PC. I like the framing, lighting, colors... all combine for a really nice shot. Now no more lurking

I really, really like this shot! I need a lens that wide. I love the beach and this one makes me feel like I'm there. The lighting is great and the shadow the rail is throwing gives it an "end of summer" feel.

The only thing I would alter would be to clone out the flying bird -- it just looks like a spec on lens -- and to maybe clone out the boats that are at the right edge of the shot.

I'm with the others on this, good work. I like how the life guards post towers so dramatically over the beach due to a wide angle lens approach. the framing is good, colors are very pleasing, exposure is great. I agree about removing the small boats at the right edge of the frame and definetely the small bird flying near the tower.
    Well done, PC

Greg, Aaron, Ken, Liban, & Gary - Thank you so much for your nice comments. I also like the idea of cloning out the small boats and the birds. This is why it's a good idea to run these past you guys - good observations and something I missed when I looked at it.

For Liban (Leels), this was shot with a Canon 10-22 at 10.

    Thanks again,

    PC

You have giving life to the hut, almost cartoon style. It's got a lot of impact too.
Really great shot and well deserved sticky.

really interesting shot......... I like the low angle you took. The only thing I think that could have made it better is if the couple was a little further down the beach than they are here, otherwise very nice

    Re: Tower 5

GB & Rick, thanks for taking the time to look and comment. I also had some concerns about the people and have another shot with them further down the beach, but I liked the tire tracks leading to them in this particular one. My wife actually likes it better without the people, but I think it gives it some life.

    Thanks again,

    PC

Great composition and lighting. I love how the rails on the lifeguard stand and the deeply shadowed tire tracks in the sand converge on the same focal point and draw my eye into the picture. I would agree with a previous comment that the position of the walking couple might have been better just a few steps further to our right, and that it's worth removing the bird in the air just above their heads. Nice photo!

Really nice photo. IT would've been nice if the beach car thing could've left neater tracks for you but I don't think it's a worry, it's not about the sand it's about the VIBE. That is a great photo.
