    Yoyoesque

I shouldn't call it that since he's all about clean lines, angles, and structure while I have to go in for the abstract, chaos, turmoil (in a good way, you understand)

Maybe I should call it Negative Yoyo OR Reverse Yoyo OR Alter Yoyo.

    Anyway, here it is.

I like it, it's the sort of photography I am into as well. Here I would maybe crop off the right part, so that it becomes more homogenic. The right dark part feels a bit distracting to me.

I am not sure for the color you used (looks green to me) and I agree that some could be croped off the right but keep the dark black beam just cut off some of the windows.

This isn't normally my cup of tea but I kind of like it.

I might would drop the highlights and increase the blacks just a little but I think the composition works fine. Well spotted D.

Thanks guys. MB, it does have a tinge of green. Remember: I'm all about "different". I like to layer to varying effects on the B&W Conversions. If I can't match Tuna, I can at least give it my own spin. LOL. I like all the cropping suggestions. I can see how they all will work.

D - I like it, and my guess is it's the space needle from a very underneath angle. I think it might be better with more contrast or just darker darks.

Seattle sure has that futuristic look.

Thanks GB. Yes it is! And Seattle does, indeed, embrace that scifi look. LOL.

I'll give your suggestions a try.

    D,
I really like this but it does need cropping, possibly to a square crop. Taking a load off the right but keeping the edge and some window and some off the left to make it square. This square crop may need a bit of sky darkening to help it along.

    Nicely spotted.

Its interesting to see how many people forget to look up.

I nearly forgot - I like the tint.

Roger, I think this is the first time you've liked one of my images! I feel so accomplished right now (only half in jest. Seriously). I will work on the image this weekend and see what I can pull off. Thank you!

I really like you lines D! I agree with the crop suggestions made and I'm sure it will only make it stronger. I wanted to share my favorite thing about this picture aside from the soaring angles and interesting composition, an out line of the bottom of someone's shoes on the catwalk of the Space Needle. At least that's what they look like to me. Does anyone else see them? Can you walk out there? It adds a little humor to the picture for me and makes this hard structure more humanized.

HA! I didn't notice that Cindy! Too funny. I don't know if you can go out that far or not. I'm too chicken to do it. But my hubby's been up. I'll ask him.

    D,
With the absence of color in the sky, I'd say this would be a great b & w subject. Well done. I like the 'towering' presence of it.

I like this picture exactly how it is. The colours are sci-fi ish (not so much as the experience music Project) and the lines are sharp. I would leave the pic as is.

Not easy to find a 'new' angle on such a photographed subject buy you have accomplished it.
