    Grass Funnelweb -weaver

You can find these little spiders in the hedgerows, especially ones that are facing the sun, they sit in their webs sunning and waiting for their prey.

Those photos are enough to send chills up one's spine. :eek6: A spider is the only critter I will not get close to. Kudos to you Bev.

    Thanks Knight and Mike,
funny actually, before i took up photography, no way would i stick my head anywhere near a spider, but to get a picture i dont even think about them like that, although one has to still run across the carpet and thats a different matter!!!

Wow - when are you bringing out the horror film?

Nice work - instatntly though of Raiders of the Lost Arc where he enters the cave with all those spiders.

LOL, Bev! I remember those earlier posts last year. At that time, you were shooting primarily birds, I was shooting mostly spiders and creepy-crawlies. Seems some things have changed in a short period of time

Although I still haven't come to naming my spiders

Nice shots here. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
