    Re: Almost Loupey :)

Knight - I don't know about "almost" - I think you got it

For one, you captured the entire wing stroke. Secondly, the wing stroke is beautifully captured by the angle of the sun.

I played around with your image. You'll see that if you bring down the overall exposure and tone down the highlights and color correct the image, the resulting image is fine indeed.

Hey Knight, I also think its very well captured, wondering, do you have any of the "before and after" frames saved to post up as well? Just curious.

Got it. Just thought you may have had some other quick pics (same series) also actually snapped in flight. No biggie, looks like this is evidence you are for sure getting this down pat, Im betting you will be going back for more ariel manuevers pics. In flight shots of dragons (I have none as of yet) are also going on my list of wanted new captures.

    Re: Almost Loupey :)

Hey, Knight, I hope you don't mind but here is the version I did a few days back.

Don't quite remember the specific steps. But, as always, nothing area-specific, no masks, layers, or such. Just global stuff like color balance, levels, curves, and repeat. Colors are always tough - I tried to envision what the scene was like for you at the time.

Like I said before, you have a good image there. Just needs a little massaging.
