    Under a bloodred sky

    Near midnight up here in Northern Norway. As I waited for the right light I fought about a billion mosquitos. When I finally got the shot I felt lightheaded due to severe bloodloss....

    The waiting paid off.An excellent composition.You really got the right light. The dramatic sky gives this a great sense of depth.

    Very,very nice work.

    love this shot so much. Amazing. Did you use a flash there or the natural light?

    Re: Under a bloodred sky

    Welcome to the forum. The lighting is beautiful and the composition fine. the only thing bugging me with this is the very big rock in the middle left. It seems to crowd the fg a bit and if it were avoided in the comp there may have been more of the water and it's glow coming down into the frame.
    Still a very pleasing to view photo.
    Well done

    Re: Under a bloodred sky

    Welcome to PR. The mosquito may have drained some of your blood, but you won the war - the picture turned out great. It is a little bit 'soft' in the rocks area, perhaps due to resizing of the image? The lighting is incredible.

    Re: Under a bloodred sky

    Thank you all for your kind comments! :-)

    Just to clarify a couple of things;

    No flash was used, only natural light. Added a little bit of saturation in PS.

    The softness in the rock area is certainly present on this small version. Must be due to some heavy rezizing of the image as it isn't as obvious on the original.

    Again; thank you! I hope to bring you some more photos, and to give some feedback to you guys also!

    Holy..... That's an amazing shot collargol, perfect/spectacular lighting and a very nice colour dispersion. Is it just me or is the horizon a little bit off line though? (It could be me because I just came back from shooting with a pretty strong fisheye ;D)
