    Sigma SD14 Samples

The photographyreview.com Sigma SD14 DSLR sample camera for the Pro Review arrived on Monday. Here's a preliminary link to images as I post them. (not many yet as of August 1)

SIGMA SD14 GALLERY OF TEST IMAGES - PART 1

The gallery link has two purple flowers, one with a bee, and the other is a corn flower and you will have to look at the full size to see the fly. WARNING: some of these are fairly large, 3-5Mb.

I started shooting for color and what better than orange/red flowers!

There is a larger/full size version of this in the gallery.

People, pets, and other items to come.

I don't know CD, that looks way over saturated on my screen. The red even turns to violet in some spots. What PP did you do on this file?

Almo is right, it looks over saturated to me also.

    How can I be lost
If I've got nowhere to go?

    John, Tyson,

Yes, the flower is highly saturated. This camera has yet another very different curve than other DSLR's. I think, repeat think, I have a handle on it.

Here is a preliminary sample of people, this is from a reduced size version. This Sigma is much easier to use with flash, both external and of course the new built in flash.
