7-on-7 football passing league tournament

This last Saturday I shot a local football passing league tournament and had a blast. I shot the first game with the 300 f/2.8 and then changed to my 70-200 f/2.8 with the 1.4x for the next two games. I then put back on the 300 and forced myself to shoot the remaining three games with to give it a work out and become familuer with it.

These first shots are with the 70-200.

These last shots were taken with the 300 f/2.8

I just have to say I love this lens (300). It's fast and the pictures come out very sharp.

Re: 7-on-7 football passing league tournament

Nice job Jim, it seems you were having fun with both of them, but it looks like that 300 lens will be a keeper.

I have an AllStar game Sat., the Indiana North vs South game with players who just graduated HS, in their last HS game.

Re: 7-on-7 football passing league tournament

Thanks JS, It is diffently a keeper and I look forward to shooting a lot more with it.

I'm finished with baseball, although a friend of the family is playing in an All-Star game tonight. Don't know if I'll take any shots or not.

Good luck with your game JS
