    Lane choice

A runners dream. The track, field stadium at Stanford University .I liked the perspective of this radical running surface.
Stadium lights were on, I forgot to turn down my ISO( 640 )-- over exposed?? these 2 shots.Very bright situation., but beyond that...Feel free to critique / edit these.
    With or without the tripod?
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The "1-9" shot @ 10mm and the "4" shot @ 20mm.
I attempted to clean up the lower right foreground. (my shadow).
I applied NR to #2 For a less texture effect.
Image #4 I cloned out the tripod and left as is to show how bright it actually was.
    Thanks,

    Rick

Oh god, these bring back nightmares of my track days...LOL I really like the deep color and contrast of the first 2. Only thing I would change on those is to clone out the camera shadow on the first and crop down just a hair on the second to take out that white object in the upper left. nice shots

I agree with Xia_Ke's critique. 1&2 are graphically appealing, but I would lose the shadow of the tripod if possible. 3&4 do appear to be over exposed but not a total loss and could come back with some PP.

    Rick,

I really like 1 and 2, with a preference leaning toward 1 if you could lose that pesky camera and tripod shadow. I'm not completely sure how you're going to go about that since it runs right through the number, but I'm sure you'll find a way

I agree with the others. 1&2 work well but get rid of the shadow.

    Thanks,
I removed the tripod shadow in image 4 clone tool.It was easy....I left #1 as is for a before / after comparison.

    Re: Lane choice

i personally like 1 better but it needs a tighter crop up top so that it will remain monochromatic. also agree about the shadow. but the lines and curves are very pleasing.
