Canon XTi won't magnify or erase all images

I have an XTi that won't magnify the picture you are currently looking at during playback mode when you press the Plus (+) button. Also, during playback mode, you cannot erase all pictures because the (All) icon does not appear on the LCD screen of the camera. Both of these problems are not consistent with the XTi operators manual. Thanks for any help you may have because the Canon service center doesn't seem to be able to read or I haven't got the magic touch. UPDATE: Canon Service Center replaced the main board in the camera and problem solved. Thanks Again for the help

Is your camera still under warranty? Either way - I would call Canon customer service. If you live in the US the number is 866-886-1901. When I had a problem a while back they were very helpful and nice.
